With the belief, 'चलो पढ़ायें कुछ कर दिखायें…शिक्षित माता सही विधाता', few years ago Ek Pahel started “Akshara” Adult Education project to impart basic literacy to women belonging to economically weaker section of the society. Till now more than 200 women have benefitted from the programme. Ek Pahel conducted annual evaluation of the women studying under the supervision of Shubhangi Bansal and Mamta Verma. Summer interns at Ek Pahel including Ayushi, Happy, Dinesh, Yugal and Prabhav assisted in the programme during their internship.
